Service Portfolio Management

Process Framework

Onboarding Process

The onboarding process aims to ensure that the services and tools of the PDC meet high quality standards, thereby building user trust. It involves proposing new services, checking their compliance with technical, legal, and scientific criteria, collecting essential information, and integrating them into the PDC.

Monitoring Process

The monitoring process focuses on gathering user feedback through both qualitative and quantitative methods. A user survey is utilized for detailed feedback, while usage metrics are tracked to identify trends. This dual approach helps detect potential areas of improvement for services based on user engagement.

Review Process

The review process is designed to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards. It includes aggregating KPI measurements, analyzing usage trends, reviewing user feedback, and checking adherence to onboarding criteria. Results are communicated to service providers, along with recommendations for improvement. A decision is then made regarding the potential offboarding of services.

Offboarding Process

The offboarding process ensures a smooth exit for services that no longer meet quality standards or are otherwise discontinued. It includes communicating the offboarding decision to users, removing the service from monitoring and documentation, and disconnecting it from the PDC, ideally allowing users time to adjust their workflows.
